Where to Eat and Drink in Sleepy Hollow

Neighboring Tarrytown draws foodies from around the region, but Sleepy Hollow holds its own with a handful of eateries that keep locals well fed. There’s a surprisingly well-traveled menu at the Bridgeview Tavern, including Belgian-style mussels, Vietnamese pork bahn mi, and Japanese miso-glazed salmon. You can’t go wrong with anything made with the in-house smoked pork butt. The selection of draft beers is extensive, including pulls from Vermont, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. The Hudson Valley is also well represented.

Belly up to the bar at J.P. Doyle’s, where you can get a refreshing draft beer, a burger big enough to share, and some tips from the bartender about what to do while you’re visiting Sleepy Hollow. In warm weather, head outside to the patio where you’ll probably be serenaded by local bands.
