Although a couple of condo developments have sprung up along the waterfront, Sleepy Hollow’s housing stock is mostly single-family homes. Off the main thoroughfare of Beekman Avenue, you’ll find plenty of charming homes — many of them Colonials, Tudors, and other traditional styles — on smaller lots. These streets have the neighborhood feel that draw many people to move to the Hudson Valley.
Looking for more space? Homes in the neighborhood of Webber Park have a bit more acreage. Also consider Philipse Manor and Sleepy Hollow Manor — known collectively as “The Manors”— two riverside communities dating from the 1920s and 1930s. The gracious homes here occupy lots ranging from a third to half an acre.
